MEMSO Shell was developed by TannerRitchie Publishing, the company behind Medieval and Early Modern Sources Online (MEMSO).

TannerRitchie was founded by two former historians, Dr Pamela Ritchie and Dr Roland Tanner, who have been working in the field of digital humanities since 1999.

TannerRitchie’s Medieval and Early Modern Sources Online has been a popular and innovative historical resource with a global client list of leading universities for the last decade.

Now for the first time the MEMSO platform is available to any project or institution wishing to make historical records available online.
